They take advantage of the warm air to soar high up thanks to their wing design and fly over the Spanish Pyrenees mountain range in search of what death left behind. The griffon vultures use the strength of the group to devour the carcass of a wild boar and overcome the physical superiority of the black vultures. Competition is fierce and fights are frequent. The hierarchy established by their violence commands the diners that despite the fights and competition they also cooperate to repel potential predators by keeping watch and sounding the alarm for the group. In a few minutes the vultures' hunger leaves only the bones and skin of a wild boar of more than 50kl. This is the moment when the bearded vultures appear. These rare and colossal birds also fight in the air and on the ground to form hierarchies. When the vultures leave the carcass, the bearded vultures gobble up its bones. Other protagonists such as the fox or the raven are also present at the feast and could adopt a role in this action-packed sequence, which portrays how nature recycles the debris of death by turning it back into life.
