ARCHIVE

Here you can see some of the themes contained in Jordi Escandell's archive. This section will be updated periodically. For each of the proposed themes there is a long reel edited with a multitude of shots and options that you can request without obligation. All the images have been shot in RAW 4k format, with cameras accepted by all the major platforms such as Netflix, Sky or HBO.

BEARDED VULTURE

A multitude of shots of this rare bird competing for the bones of the carcasses it finally gobbles up.

LIZARDS vs RABBITS

On a small Mediterranean island uninhabited by man, lives an endemic lizard that has had to adapt its diet to every possible opportunity, as food is very scarce. A few years ago, however, man introduced rabbits that competed with them for the island's resources. The lizards, however, were able to take advantage of their new competitor. Once dead, the bodies of the rabbits attract flies, which the lizards use to hunt, and when the mammal's body decomposes they eat its carrion, which they then rotate as crocodiles do to tear off the meat. These initially insectivorous lizards now eat plants, seeds, insects and carrion.

BOREAL LYNX

Filmed in January 2024. We see how the boreal lynx is in rutting season marking its territory with scent and also roaring. We can also see how a mother moves with a cub, probably from last year. In addition to other behaviors such as drinking or sniffing, sleeping or walking in the forest, it draws attention to the fact that due to climate change the mountains are without snow.

EUROPEAN VULTURES

Let's see Griffon vultures move around the Pyrenees in search of carrion. They can fly hundreds of kilometers a day thanks to the use of thermal currents.

PYRENEES

Landscapes of the Pyrenees mountain range. This reel contains images of massifs of Spain and France and will soon be completed with drone images.

SPAIN FROM THE AIR

This is a collection of landscapes filmed with a drone -Mavic 3 Cine and Inspire 2-. This part of the archive is in constant process of creation.

CRANES

We see how thousands of cranes travel to the south of Europe, where they spend the winter to eat and socialize.

GENET

Images of a genet cat eating figs in a tree at first light.

GOLDEN EAGLE

Images of golden eagle with female, flying or eating a prey.

FOX

In winter, foxes have to use all their ingenuity to overcome the scarcity of food, especially high up in the European mountain ranges.

OTTER

These are some of the images that form part of the Otter archive. In the images we see games between adults, marking the territory with their scent in the trees of the river or playing with the fish they have hunted.
